Terms of Service
Effective October 17, 2026
In short: you own your drawings and the models we make. Cyanform's output is a starting point that you must check before anything is manufactured. Credit is prepaid and used per request. Only upload drawings you're allowed to share.
These terms are an agreement between you and Cyanform, a sole proprietorship based in Colorado, USA ("Cyanform", "we", "us"), for your use of cyanform.com and the Cyanform application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The Service
Cyanform uses automated, AI-assisted tools to read engineering drawings and spec sheets you upload, generate 3D CAD models and related files (such as STEP, STL, 2D drawings, flat patterns and dimension reports), and revise them based on your instructions. We may change, improve or discontinue features over time.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate account information.
- Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account; tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
- One person per account; don't share or resell access.
3. Credit, pricing and payment
- The Service is prepaid. You buy credit through our payment processor, Stripe, and each request (a new build or a chat message and the work done for it) deducts the processing it actually used. Prices shown at checkout and on our pricing page apply.
- Each request has a spending limit. Because usage is measured as work completes, a request can occasionally take your balance slightly below zero; any negative amount is deducted from your next purchase.
- Credit has no cash value, isn't transferable between accounts, and doesn't expire while your account is open.
- Prices are in US dollars. You're responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Your content
- Ownership. You keep all rights to the drawings, files and messages you upload ("Your Content") and to the models and files the Service generates for you ("Output"), to the extent you have rights in the underlying design.
- License to us. You give us permission to store, process and transmit Your Content and Output only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, including through our service providers described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use Your Content to train AI models.
- Your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to upload Your Content and to have it processed by us and our service providers.
5. Restricted content
Don't upload, and don't use the Service to create:
- classified information, or technical data controlled under export laws such as the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), unless you have confirmed it may lawfully be shared with our service providers;
- drawings or data you don't have permission to share, including material covered by a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement that forbids it;
- designs for weapons, or anything else unlawful or that infringes someone's intellectual property.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. For example, don't try to access other users' data, get around spending limits or security controls, reverse engineer or overload the Service, use it to build a competing product, or use the chat for purposes unrelated to your projects. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
7. Check every model before you use it
Output is generated automatically and may contain errors, including misread dimensions, wrong assumptions or missing features, even when the dimension report shows checks passing. The Service is a drafting aid, not a substitute for qualified engineering review. You're responsible for verifying all Output against your drawings and requirements before using it for manufacturing, quoting, purchasing or any other purpose, and for any parts made from it.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, MATERIALS, SCRAPPED OR REWORKED PARTS, OR PRODUCTION DOWNTIME, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR OUTPUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of Output, or your breach of these terms, including claims that Your Content infringes someone's rights or violates export laws.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if required by law. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund any unused credit. Sections 4, 7 to 10 and 13 continue after your account ends.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
