Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
In short: we collect what we need to run your account, build your models and take payment. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads or tracking, and we don't use your drawings for anything except your projects.
This policy explains how Cyanform, a sole proprietorship based in Colorado, USA ("Cyanform", "we", "us"), handles personal information when you use cyanform.com and the Cyanform application (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
You give us
- Account details: username, email address and password. We store passwords only as salted hashes, never in readable form.
- Project content: drawings, spec sheets and images you upload, notes and chat messages you send, and the files we generate for you (3D models, 2D drawings, flat patterns, scripts and reports).
- Support messages you send us.
Collected when you use the Service
- Usage and billing records: which projects you ran, when, how much processing each request used, and what was charged to your balance.
- Payment records: amount, date and a payment reference. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, used to keep the Service secure (for example, limiting repeated failed sign-ins) and to fix problems.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: read your drawings, build and revise your models, and deliver your files.
- To run your account and balance, take payments and keep billing records.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix errors.
- To contact you about your account, payments or important changes to the Service.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use your drawings or projects to train AI models.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing their service to us:
- AI service providers: to read your drawings and generate models, your uploaded drawings, notes and messages are sent to the AI service providers that power Cyanform's assistant. They process this content only to return results to us and, under their business terms, do not use it to train their models.
- Stripe: processes payments. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare: delivers and protects the website (encrypted connections and network security), which means it handles traffic to and from the Service, including IP addresses.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: our pages load fonts and code libraries from these services, so your browser sends them your IP address and basic browser information when you visit.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).
4. Cookies
We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may also store small preferences locally.
5. How long we keep it
- Projects (drawings, chats, generated files) are kept until you delete the project or your account.
- Account details are kept while your account is open.
- Payment and billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 7 years), even after an account is closed.
- Security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
When you delete a project, its files are removed from our server. Copies in backups are overwritten on our normal backup cycle.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hash passwords, keep payment card handling with Stripe, and run the code that builds your models in an isolated, restricted environment. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
7. Your choices and rights
You can view and download your projects and billing history in the app, and delete projects at any time. To access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to close your account, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, in California or the EU); we'll honor those requests as the law requires.
8. Sensitive and controlled information
Please don't upload drawings you aren't allowed to share with service providers, such as classified material, export-controlled technical data (for example, under ITAR or EAR), or information covered by a confidentiality agreement that forbids it. See our Terms of Service.
9. Children
The Service is for business and professional use and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
